Is your Control4 system concerns you ? Maybe you can not hear the speakers even though the volume is pretty high? You do not see the Listen icon on the touch screen?
Are you seeing the message below:
"A 4sight subscription is required to connect your system remotely. Please contact your Control4 dealer to obtain. (403.21)"

Is the Control4 thermostat not showing the temperature?
Have you changed the battery in the thermostat?
Is the furnace actually on or someone might have mistakenly turned it off!
Is your Control4 System unable to link with Alexa?
"We are experiencing a problem connecting with the skill to link your account.
You can try linking your account again by visiting the Control4 skill page."
Do you have a problem scanning for Control4 devices through Alexa?
Have you removed the link between the two devices and then tried to reconnect them again?
Is your 4-Sight license still valid?
Is your control4 app taking forever to connect when you try connecting over a cellular network? t
Have you tried connecting using another device (android phone)?
Is your Control4 system acting up? Maybe you can not hear the speakers even though the volume is pretty high? You do not see the Listen icon on the touch screen?
Possible causes for airplay not to be working are:
- Poor wifi signal
- Not having the best router (highly recommended to use Control4 endorsed routers)
- The processor might be needing a power cycle
Possible issues:
- Wireless link is disconnected (if working on a wireless mesh)
- Wired connection has come loose (wired link)
- Programming is erased or the keypad has gone bad
- Your system may need a firmware update.
There are 2 Control4 applications (OS2 & OS3).
If your system was installed several years ago and has not been updated (using hc250 or hc800 for the processor) Control4 OS 2 could work.
If your Control4 is more recent (using Ea-1-3-5 for the processor), Control4 OS 3 could work.
Once you log in using your credentials, the app itself will tell you what app version will work for your Control4 System.
If your control4 remote was working until a few days ago and all of a sudden the remote is now not working, please check to see what room the remote is now controlling.
Click List, and check to see if the room selected for the remote is the actual room that the AV components are located.
Most probably something has happened to the wired network that you see the below message:
"Device could not be identified. Confirm your network connection, make sure Composer is ready, and verify you have the correct driver to identify this device."
Other alternatives to troubleshooting this unit is rebooting it (reset button on top) or power cycling the entire system (processor and the network)
Control4 Neo Remote connects to Control4 over wifi. The remote will need a solid wifi connection to operate stably and smoothly.
